The Arlington Rescue Run will take place on a fully paved path through Arlington County's beautiful Bluemont Park. It starts just east of the Four Mile Run Trail, turns around approximately 4ft east of corner of trail (path that comes from N. Quintana Street), continues back towards the starting point of the race for the finish. Please see the Race map for more clarity (Race Course). (Bluemont Park- USATF Certification)
At the end of the 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run, you will be met with live DJ and loads of friends and family motivating you to cross the finish line. The event also includes drinks (water/sports drink), snacks, Picture zone and a great kid zone!
Stay and enjoy the finish line festivities! Celebrate your run, enjoy listening to music provided by an awesome DJ, give a hand to the runners coming in & celebrate with us as you snap your picture in front of the O.U.R. backdrop (Don’t forget to tag and/or mention us @ArlingtonRescueRun on Instagram).
PLUS: The fun doesn't have to end after the race is over-- Bluemont Park has so many things to offer: Playground, disc golf, tennis courts, basketball court, baseball diamond, playing fields, grills and picnic tables. Enjoy a nice day out and have fun with family, old friends & new friends!
